Yoga Kula’s Studio Is Reopening on 17th May

Covid-19 Safety Procedures at Yoga Kula

Our student’s and teacher’s safety is our highest priority, that’s why we have put together a Covid-19 Safety at Yoga Kula graphic to show how we are keeping you safe at all times. As we reopen the studio we are ensuring that we adhere to Government guidelines, whilst respecting our student’s need to practise safely in the studio once again. For those students who are unable to join us in the studio at the moment, you can still join us for Online classes.

Safety for our Community and Teachers First

We are very excited to bring our community back together and be back in our beautiful studio space and recently refurbished reception area.

Our number one priority is to make sure you feel safe, comfortable and calm when you come to practice yoga at Yoga Kula and we are doing everything possible to make this happen.

Our teachers will take a lateral flow test before teaching a studio class, they will wear a mask and hand gel when not on their mat and there will be no touch support or physical contact until restrictions lift.

Please read the below information for full details of the processes we have in place to keep your space safe.

Guidance for when you arrive at the Yoga Kula studio

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before class to allow time for the below safety checks and sign-in process. If you arrive after the class has started you may not be permitted to join the session as we are also live-streaming the class to students practicing at home.
  • Please wear a mask on arrival and keep it on until the teacher informs you to take it off when you are on your mat.
  • The team will ask whether you have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and will also check your temperature with an infrared thermometer.
  • Once you have removed your shoes, please keep your socks on until you arrive at your mat (if you wear flip flops or sandals please bring socks with you).
  • You will be asked to maintain social distancing when you arrive at the studio (there are markers on the floor to help guide you on where to stand), you must also follow social distancing as you store and collect your belongings from the storage areas.
  • Please note our changing facilities are closed until restrictions lift.
  • All bookings and payments must be made before coming to the studio to prevent queuing.
  • Any queries can be addressed via email to info@yogakulaleeds.co.uk or over the phone via 07445 625645 during office hours. The general teaching team will not be able to answer any queries on Yoga Kula’s behalf so please do not ask them.
