We invite you to join Yoga Kula founder, director, and Senior Yoga Teacher Angela Sykes for a FREE yoga class to celebrate this years International Women’s Day. The class will run on Thursday 7th March from 2-3pm. International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Collective action and shared ownership for driving gender parity is what makes International Women’s Day successful. Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist once explained “The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.” So make International Women’s Day your day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.

The world is changing and it is exciting and uplifting to see more and more women leading countries, big businesses and social change. The first International Women’s Day occurred in 1911, supported by over one million people. Today, International Women’s Day belongs to groups collectively worldwide. The celebration is not country, group or organisation specific.

Join Angela and prepare with meditation, breath and intention before moving into a powerful flow to develop both outer and inner strength, creating heat in the body. We wind down with a gentle flow to ease us into deep rest and seal our practice with a silent insight meditation.

Space in this incredible free class is limited, so please book here to secure your place.
