Free Beginners Yoga

Join our Beginners Yoga expert Becky Hill for a FREE beginners class and Q and a once a month on a Monday 6.30pm to 7.15pm via Zoom.

What to expect?

A free 30-minute class packed full of the ‘yoga basics’. Becky will guide you through simple poses, breathing techniques and simple meditation which will leave you feel uplifted, inspired, energised and connected.

After the session there will be an opportunity to chat directly with Becky about yoga, the different styles of yoga, how you feel about staring your yoga journey and which style would be best for you.

Why we love yoga?

At Yoga Kula we believe yoga is about much more than taking a class. When we are calm and healthy we show up in the word with a different energy, we take action from a wiser stand point, our self-belief and confidence grows meaning we can have a positive impact not just on our own lives but on those around us and our communities.

Why should you practise yoga?

We promise you will always feel better after a yoga class. Whether it’s an improvement to your mental health in terms of clarity of mind, feeling refocused, relaxed, calmer or whether it’s a physical improvement such as feeling taller, stretched, less aches and pains or it might just be a combination of everything. The important aspect of starting yoga is to start with a class that’s suited to you. Don’t join one of our level 2 classes as a beginner, you might end up feeling frustrated. Instead, follow our guidance and you will begin at a level that’s right for you and you’ll soon fall in love with a regular class that works for you in terms of your needs, your lifestyle and your schedule.

Try and go into a yoga class with an open mind and you might just feel different, better, more open, present and happier. If you don’t believe us why not give it a go.

Your Yoga Journey

We recommend our students to try the free Monday evening beginners class, then book straight into our regular 6-week beginners’ courses which run both online and in the studio. If you cannot make a course or you can’t find a date that works we recommend beginning our level 1 Hatha classes. Becky Hill is the Yoga Kula Beginners expert, Becky leads the courses at Kula and teaches a lot of our level 1 classes.
