If you are new to Yoga we would recommend you complete at least one cycle of our 6 week Yoga for Beginners Course which we run regularly throughout the year both in the studio and on YK LIVE. There’s so much to look forward to as someone who is new to yoga, it’s an exciting time, but also one that can be a little daunting. As a dedicated yoga studio we are here to help you every step of the way.

During the six weeks you will study the building blocks of a yoga practice which you can then bring with you into our drop in sessions. You will learn key yoga postures and the fundamentals of the yoga practice such as the importance of breath and alignment. You will also be introduced to some basic yoga philosophy and meditation techniques.

We have regular Beginners Courses starting every month or so, take a look at the courses section of the website for more information on dates and booking.

We also have a wide range of classes suitable for students who are within the first 6 months of their yoga practice, you can find full information regarding these classes on our Beginners Timetable here.

At Yoga Kula we offer 1 free online yoga beginner class which runs every Monday at 6:30pm. This is an opportunity for you to try a live yoga class with beginners yoga specialist Becky Hill for free. The class takes place via Zoom and you book your space by creating an account on MindBody online (our booking software). When you book the class you will receive an instant automation email to confirm the booking – keep this email safe as it contains instructions on how to join the session via Zoom and a suggested playlist to play during the class (if you want to). If for any reason you do not receive the email please check your spam/junk/promotion folder and if it is not there please contact us so we can investigate this for you.
