ayuvedaJoin Angela to learn about the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. Ayurveda can be translated as ‘the art of living wisely’. Ayurveda dates back to ancient times in India and is often referred to as the sister science to yoga. Ayurveda works on the understanding that the energies in the body are in a constant flux and can become severely out if balance if we do not live in accordance with (our) nature. The energies or ‘doshas’ Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water) all reside within us (often) in different proportions which show up as our distinct mind/body characteristics. In this session you will learn more about the 3 doshas, which dosha(s) are dominant within you and how to begin to notice imbalance. You will also learn basic Ayurvedic methods to maintain doshic balance, boost health and support longevity. Invest in your health and learn more about these ancient methods which have stood the test of time! This course is ideal for yoga students, yoga teachers, massage therapists, health practitioners, those interested in healing modalities and those interested general well being.

Angela has been studying Ayurveda and Ayurvedic massage techniques for over 7 years under the guidance of Ayurvedic Doctors and massage therapists both in the UK and India. You will be warmly welcomed.
